Grand Park Max Effgen, September 13, 2021 Mt Rainier with lenticular “cap” cloud Grand Park is a high alpine meadow that was formed by an ancient lava flow. From this northwest corner of the national park, there are some amazing views of the mountain and few visitors. In this photo, a lenticular cloud caps the volcano.
